Napa Valley Wine Excursions is dedicated to providing the highest quality service at a very competitive rate. Below is a detailed list of our standard rates and fees. Please contact us to get a quote for larger groups, corporate events, or other special arrangements.
Pricing for our services is per hour (for the vehicle, not per person) so each group can pace themselves throughout the day as they prefer. There is a six-hour daily minimum (as an industry standard), and this allows us to put together a seamless, balanced day where you are not rushed and can take full advantage of when wineries are open.
SUVs: $105 per hour for parties of 1-7 guests
Van: Our Ford Transit van can easily accommodate larger groups, up to 11 guests (plus driver), at a very competitive price (rates start at $120/hour). Please inquire about pricing, as the hourly rate varies based upon the time of year and the number in your party.
Please note that hourly rates increase over holiday weekends during peak tourist season.
SERVICE FEE: Your reservation will incur a $100 flat booking service fee. This covers the time spent calling wineries, making reservations, preparing your customized itinerary, providing you with concierge services, etc. This fee will be included on your invoice at the conclusion of your tour. In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your reservation, the service fee will be charged to the credit card that you used for booking.
Napa Valley Wine Excursions is proud to be very transparent in our pricing. There are no hidden charges and no tax, insurance, or licensing fees, which are common with many other tour companies. We offer a simple, flat hourly rate. There is an industry-standard flat fuel fee of $75 for local Napa pickups, and the fuel/toll fee for a pickup outside of Napa County varies based on location and mileage.
Tasting fees at each winery are the responsibility of the client -- typically ranging from $50-$100 per person -- and are usually waived with a minimum bottle purchase.
Gratuity is greatly appreciated and at your discretion at the end of the day. The average gratuity is 18-20% for exceptional service. An automatic gratuity is added for groups of five or more people OR for multiple-day tours if expectations have been exceeded, which is our goal with every group.
Finally, there is a $750 minimum fee should any guest incur damage to the vehicle (exterior body damage, spilled liquids, vomit, etc.).
INITIAL BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
Napa Valley Wine Excursions requires a valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or Amex) at the time of booking in order to secure your reservation. In the event that you must cancel your reservation 30 or more days in advance of your scheduled tour, your credit card will be charged the $100 booking service fee only.
If you cancel fewer than 30 days from the scheduled tour, a $200 fee per day of touring, plus the $100 booking fee, is due. You can, however, apply the touring fee to my services for up to one year from the date of reservation. If need be, you may also transfer the deposit to another person/group.
If the cancellation occurs within one week of your reservation, then the entire six-hour minimum, plus the $100 booking service fee, is due and payable, since a vehicle, guide, and complete itinerary have already been committed to you for that day, and I will have turned away other inquiries in order to plan your tour. The touring fee can also be applied to a future tour up to one year from the date of the reservation. Please be advised that fear of contracting Covid-19 does NOT exempt you from the cancellation fee if you cancel fewer than 30 days from your scheduled tour.
